Latest Techniques

The field of dentistry is constantly evolving and changing to best suit patient needs. We are always on the lookout for new and emerging technology to make our patients’ experience as comfortable as possible.

Innovative Technology

Our office is equipped with digital imaging, low-emissions x-ray machines, sterilized handpieces, and other technological innovations to improve your treatment and safety. Many patients particularly enjoy the intra oral camera, which allows them to see pictures of what’s going on in their mouth and helps them make educated decisions.

Dr. Silva and Dr. Blumenfeld have completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, allowing them to incorporate all the latest techniques and procedures into the practice.  They take relevant continuing education courses on a regular basis. Your Dentist Knows Best

Don’t rush when you brush!

The consensus recommendation is for people to brush their teeth for two minutes twice a day with a toothbrush that has soft bristles.

Generally visit your dentist once every 6 months

To maintain optimal oral health, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends regular dental visits, at intervals determined by a dentist.  The frequency of their regular dental visits should be tailored by your dentist to accommodate for your current oral health status and health history.

Don’t Forget to Floss!

According to the American Dental Association (ADA), interdental cleaners such as floss are an essential part of taking care of your teeth and gums. Cleaning between teeth removes plaque that can lead to cavities or gum disease from the areas where a toothbrush can’t reach. Interdental cleaning is proven to help remove debris between teeth that can contribute to plaque buildup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there onsite parking?

Yes

Do I need to arrive early for my first appointment?

Yes. The check-in and medical/dental application takes around 15 minutes.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

Proof of identification and insurance information.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, through CareCredit.

What do I need to qualify for financing?

Established credit history and average credit score.

Do you offer cosmetic dentistry?

Yes. We offer a wide range of cosmetic dental procedures.

I just found out I'm pregnant. Can I still get Novocaine?

Yes, but we recommend you postpone all major dental work during the last trimester.

What is gum disease?

Gingivitis is the mildest form of periodontal disease. It causes the gums to become red, swollen, and bleed easily.

At what age should my child first see the dentist?

The American Dental Association recommends that children first see the dentist at the age of 1 year. To start off, children usually accompany parents on one of their visits, simply to get acquainted with us. We let them see the office, ride up and down in the dental chair, and give them a prize so they go home with a happy memory. Once they become used to coming in and feel comfortable with us, they can be treated without fear.
